Hey, my name is Emily. Although I’ve never been a sporty person, I love finding fun ways to keep active. I teach bootcamps but I grew up as a swimmer, dancer and gymnast. I love doing different types of yoga and can’t wait for the weather to get warmer so I can enjoy catching up with friends over long walks by the boardwalk and experimenting with delicious smoothie bowls flavours!
Tell us a bit about the classes you teach?
At the moment I’m only teaching women’s bootcamps, but keep an eye out for authentic flow, yin and Zumba class events I plan to run!
What inspires you on a daily basis?
I’m inspired daily by so many strong women in my life. I am constantly reminded that women can do anything we put our minds to, and I’m so lucky to be surrounded by such fierce female role models.
What kind of music is your favourite to work out to?
I love listening to throwbacks from the 90s and early 00s, they get me so pumped up!
Do you have a catchphrase or favourite saying? Share it with us!
My favourite saying is “The only workout you’ll regret is the one you didn’t do”. I KNOW how hard it can be to feel motivated sometimes, but your body will always thank you for being active.
What’s your favourite time of day to work out and why?
Personally, I like working out in the morning because I leave my workouts feeling energized and ready to take on the world! However, many classes I’ve taught over the last few years have been in the evening, so mums can fit in a workout after their busy days and have someone at home to watch the kids. The “best” time to work out is the time that works for you!
What’s your Instructor superpower?
My instructor superpowers are my positivity and creativity. No two classes are ever the same, so I can keep my ladies on their toes!
